If you paid with a credit card, do a chargeback. That will put the burden on
them to prove that they did in fact credit you the year that you paid for.
If they cant prove that, then you shouldnt have paid for anything anyway. If
they can prove that (or if they add the year) then you have gotten what you
paid for. Either way it should come out ok. Now that the domain is with
OpenSRS, I doubt they have any means to put it on hold. Someone correct me
here if Im wrong.

Also, I think this may be the reason for the 60-day holding period after
registration where you are not allowed to transfer a domain. If memory
serves, 60 days is usually the window in which you must file a chargeback if
youre going to. Apparently the same restrictions are not placed renewals.
