Thank you, this just reminded by of another problem with e-mail templates.
You have no control over when they will be processed. It's very possible
that an e-mail registration could get delayed due to many factors (this
happened all the time when using netsol). With the API, you have
real-time registration with instant results. With e-mail, you would need
to wait and see if they got around to processing your request before
someone else submitted a request for the same domain via a real-time API.

Let me clarify that I meant "reseller" when I said "registrar" above. I
see people complaining that its too hard to develop scripts that process
via the API and that they would prefer e-mail processing. If they can't
code to the API, I'm not sure how they would expect to be able to code a
much more complex parser to receive the replies from opensrs...
