Thanx for the feedback all....

This is requiring a double-time charge from me.

One: there is some uncertainty (on my part) that the quickssl product is
sustainable. I am not sure that there verification procedures will be
accepted by the browser once Microsoft starts insisting that all CAs pass
WebTrust standards (by the end of this year I was told). I am also skeptical
about the 90% browser recognition claim as well. I will be doing an unbiased
(well as unbiased as possible investigation -- there's alot of propoganda in
Web-Security Land---into these matters and reporting back to the list)

Two: We have been looking at all manner of methods to make the verification
procedures as quick and pain-free as possible. This includes bringing this
functionality in-house, creating webs of trust etc.... i'm open to
suggestions as well. We are however, working within the confines of a
cross-certification agreement and the apparently soon-to-be enforced
Webtrust procedures.

I'll keep you posted....
