There's a legal argument against it, and it's been discussed to death here on the list.
(For example, here's the beginning of a LONG thread about it from Jun of 2000: http://www.opensrs.org/archives/discuss-list/0006/0359.html ) The long and short of it is that OpenSRS feels that they don't have the ability to give control of the domain name to the RSP due to their contractual obligations to ICANN. Besides, the names that *I've* had charged back were completely worthless, and I have no particular desire to control them.
