I look at everything with a Dilbert view, because in my own business experience, it's very often been correct. I firmly believe you had no idea of the negative response that this generated, and would have addressed it differently had you known people would react so negatively. We all make judgment errors, some on this list know of a few bad ones I've made. How you handle it from this point forward will be worth more then the initial infraction, although I suspect you will have lost a little respect in the process. I also believe it will be handled well, as OpenSRS has always done in the past with the various issues that have come up in my time here. -- The nice thing about standards, there is enough for everyone to have their own.
