Clearly, you can choose to believe what you like! :)

The very nature of any test we perform is to test a concept or prove an
assumption. Be definition, our tests are limited in scope to just that (in
order to allow us to find out what we need to know, and then go build a
product or service. The point of the tests is in support of developing a
service that could support all our resellers; typically the design and
functionality involved is crude and not ready for "prime-time".

Let me fill in some facts here:

- the live system did experience slowdowns during 2-3 pm for a time (a
couple of months back); all resellers were affected equally
- the batch pool has removed these operational issues
- the new batch system is not in any way used as part of our testing

No one has asked directly...

We generally do not publicly disclose product development phases for many
reasons (although, clearly, they are generally far from covert or
secret). One of the common reasons we do not talk about these things is
that we are often in binding non-disclosure agreements with other
parties/suppliers. There are also competitive reasons and general bandwidth
reasons that we use to carefully select what we test, and when and how we
talk about it.

Should you wish to participate in such tests, I would recommend contacting
your sales rep and they can nominate you for appropriate projects as they
become available.

I can say (repeat):

- we are conducting testing in support of developing a service or services
that involve "expiring names"
- we have been conducting tests for almost six months to date
- we will continue to evolve our testing and tests over the next few months
- our intention has always been and will always be to develop a product for
our channel to offer in this space ASAP - this should be by early March -
things are coming together
- as soon as we hit the point where we feel we can talk about our offering
with confidence (ie; we have figured out all the loose ends) we will do so
on this list to get your feedback, as we do value it
