Addendum to my previous post - After all of these people have plunked down their money if this auction/raffle/ FCFS system/scam/whatever to get their name on this "waiting list", what is to prevent joe sore-loser from either... 1. buying the name from the registrant before expiry (outlaw transfers?) 2.paying the current registrant to maintain the name for another year- maybe joe can win _that_ auction. (besides, that prick of a high bidder loses their money this year) or - 3. perhaps joe sore-loser can just renew the name for the registrant without their permission? (nsi.com/make_payments.html) see #2 for reasons joe may want to do this....
