I also agree about this, but we are NOT talking about completion here! The sequence is: 1. transfer approval request to admin-c at CURRENT email address 2. confirmation at Tucows web site 3. confirmation of receipt of the confirmation is sent out from Tucows to FUTURE email address of admin contact (gotten from the order) 4. admin-c still at current (=old) email address gets possibly a second transfer approval request from old registrar 5. he approves 6. domain is transferred 7. Tucows sends another email about completion of the transfer (at least you do for some weeks now, right?) I only question if it is really useful/necessary to send no. 3 to the email address in the order instead of to the email address of no. 1. Maybe sending out to both would be the best approach? We figured that no. 3 would be the excellent choice to warn the admin-c (who may not be the customer, but his old provider, web designer or whatever, you know how many domains have wrong data! not to mention the fact that we often insert a special alias of our own there, so that our customers are not getting spammed) a last time about the possible second mail coming along - however, this doesn't work if no. 3 doesn't go to the same email address as no. 1. If I didn't make myself clear yet, I hope I did now :-) Kai -- Kai Schtzl, Berlin, Germany Get your web at Conactive Internet Services: http://www.conactive.com IE-Center: http://ie5.de & http://msie.winware.org
