We are listed, here are our Stats on Click throughs: 23 visitors from tucows.com in Month of December 3 visitors from opensrs.com in Month of December
Based on our analysis, across two different websites, with an average of 50 NEW visitors per DAY about 1 in targeted 4.5 visitors actually becomes a customer - ((an average customer does check out at least 4 or 5 vendors before they decide which they choose)) So for the month of December I would estimate that OpenSRS referral listing brought us total 4 or 5 new customers. Over the past 6 months we have noticed a significant amount of calls to our office where a customer opened with statement : MY OpenSRS reseller went out of business.... and I need to transfer my domains. I believe that all resellers should be listed, perhaps with and additional info like "OpenSRS reseller since..." to assist the customer Cheers Genie Livingstone > --- [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > > The honest truth is that the referral list doesn't really help in any > > way. > > It's not going to bring you any business in 2003 if you are listed. > then George Kirikos wrote: > I agree...I think the only way it would help folks is that it might > give them a higher Google Pagerank, being linked from an "important" > site such as Tucows.com, etc. (i.e. links from pages with a high > pagerank help your own pagerank). >
