So we can expect some progress soon, because you are going to call the registry every day until they come up with some break through? > However, the reality is that registrants will need to pay to renew come > March. What about working free email for IDNs? Or two years renewal for the price of one, since it only half works. > I am suggesting that enabling the ability to renew IDNs I would certainly hope that it is possible to pay if people have to. > will benefit > everyone involved - including the registrant. Yes, and it is the (re)seller, so us, Tucows and Verisign, to make the product valuable. I am thinking hard what I can do in this respect. I cannot come up with something. Can you? > We all need to decide how we will respond to Versign's decision to charge > for IDN renewals. They wouldn't like it if Tucows would advise people to think twice before they renew, do they? I understand that Verisign is going to charge, but they will have to come up with some real progress or they will lose this market. If people want houses and all you give them is tents, some will be happy with the tent, since there is nothing else. Others will move and find themselves a house. -- [05] Round the clock here on the internet. http://logoff.org/
