Thanks. One thing I read in the contract concerned me, in the Schedule
B "Abuse Policy":

"In the event of Internet Abuse event or complaint, the offending
e-mail account will be suspended and the Domain Admin will be notified.
In the event a second Internet Abuse event or complaint occurs within a
period of thirty (30) days, the entire domain will be suspended and the
Domain Admin will be notified."

Perhaps I'm reading this too closely, but the above seems to be a
"shoot first, ask questions later" policy --- i.e. someone could
maliciously shut down one's email system simply by making a FALSE
complaint???

If I was going to use the service, it would be for important domains,
which I'd not want shut down (e.g. my PRIMARY personal and business
domain names). A "guilty upon complaint" policy is simply unacceptable,
if my reading of the above is correct (i.e. I'm not a spammer, so the
only complaints would be either 1) malicious or 2) mistaken identity,
e.g. when folks misread the headers of an email, or 3) innocent third
party (spammers misuse real people's email addresses, forging the
"From").

Are there any assurances from Tucows/OpenSRS that a domain's email will
be kept up and running until AFTER such time as a complaint is fully
investigated?? Perhaps a "white list", of folks whose domains are known
to be legit? (e.g. I'm the only person sending from the domains, and
I've been an OpenSRS reseller for years -- clearly there's enough of a
relationship to be put on a whitelist, to not "shoot first and ask
questions later." Or maybe not! ;) [shoot first, and then buy WLS slots
on all my domains!] ;)

Sincerely,
