It would be helpful if registrars, which (apart from Tucows) do not hesitate to send us email about useless new services, would point things out to usnwhen they matter, like in this case ... > This message was from Netsol REGISTRAR. Must be because they are busy with free transfers :-) > On December 15 all race code domains has been transformed to puny code. > you may look at your own premium domain name http://www..com ( > http://www.xn--eba.com in puny code ) ( http://www.bq--actq.com in race > code ). It is forwarded to xn--eba.com. Yes Marc Scheiders is king of > Multilibgual Domain names. :-) Well, in fact I sold this name for a modest fee to someone in Denmark, but the buyer does not reply to emails. He did pay. So I am not worried. And I have more of this stuff :-) Unfortunately I do email on a unix console, so I cannot advertize the names here :-) > You should simpley enter xn--eba.com in your nameservers instead of > bq--actq.mltbd.com and your .com Domain will work again. Did I block emails to me, pointing this out to me? All our IDN names are with Tucows. Did Tucows send me a message to change DNS? I am not making Tucows responsible for all the hunger in the world. But where I am supposed to learn these things, in time? Nobody's business depends, I hope, on IDN names, but it is a bad sign, that we learn about changes by 'accident'. Bad for the 'industry'. Bad for the holy 'stability'. I think I will launch a website selling .fraud domains. In all languages and character sets. > see www.auswrtiges-amt.com for example. The German foreign ministry has surely lots of people to monitor these things. My one-person company fails to keep up. Maybe I should leave the business? I may sound bitter. But I truly think we should be notified of this type of change. No? > I already asked Netsol to clarify. Please, share any reply. Thanks!
