Hi folks, For those of you that may not have received the Live reseller update earlier today, I just wanted to put closure to this thread and let you all know the outcome of the .org IDN delete issue.
On Dec 23rd 2003, PIR did announce that they intended to delete all .org IDN domain names on Feb 1st 2004, however due to popular demand they have chosen to reverse this decision and allow the names to remain. Furthermore they have unlocked these names in order to allow transfer of IDN names from registrars who will be deleting their IDN's (aka NetSol) to those who are in it for the long run (aka Tucows :) I'd like to thank PIR, its management and staff for reconsidering their position on this issue. We will have more news regarding IDN's in the next few weeks.
