Must be because they are busy with free transfers :-)

:-)
<marc>
Well, in fact I sold this name for a modest fee to someone in Denmark, but
the buyer does not reply to emails. He did pay. So I am not worried. And I
have more of this stuff :-) Unfortunately I do email on a unix console, so
I cannot advertize the names here :-)

?.com (Euro.com) was recently snapped with namewinner. I lost because I
hadn't removed my $100 limit. Silly me.

Did I block emails to me, pointing this out to me?

All our IDN names are with Tucows. Did Tucows send me a message to change
DNS?

I am not making Tucows responsible for all the hunger in the world. But
where I am supposed to learn these things, in time? Nobody's business
depends, I hope, on IDN names, but it is a bad sign, that we learn about
changes by 'accident'. Bad for the 'industry'. Bad for the holy
'stability'.

Verisign converted the domains to puny code overnight.
I don't know where I get it from anymore . But I think it was from one of
the smaller German registrars.

About the DNS: I had to search for the information myself. I think most
support people of the registrars are too confused about that stuff.
Following document explains all:

The German foreign ministry has surely lots of people to monitor these
things. My one-person company fails to keep up. Maybe I should leave the
business?
</marc>
Yes, it points the a website of the German foreign ministry, but it is
registered by a person of the registrar (dd24 / rrpoxy) where you get your
information regarding multiligual .org domains. I think they expect to get
further business from the ministry for this kind of "protection service". Or
they registered it in the name of the ministry.

<marc>
I may sound bitter. But I truly think we should be notified of this type
of change. No?
</marc>
A company like tucows who is charging their reseller $10 for domain names
should be able to follow the process and inform their resellers about any
major changes.

Please, share any reply. Thanks!

sure.
