when we were talking to the hotel before SCaLE last year, they were saying
that the most bandwidth they had ever seen used was substantially under
20Mb, we had them bump the DS3 theyhave up to the full 45Mb and maxed it
out easily.
unfortunantly getting extra data feeds into the hotels near LAX on a
temporary basis is very expensive (it's just shy of having to pay for a
years worth to get it for a weekend)
however, if the attendance grows again this year like it did last year, we
may have to move again to accomodate the attendees, we'll see where we end
up.
