Ultimately I think simple TCP commands will probably suffice as the Freeway has the interface between the amp and control already setup with exposed commands.
I will need to control the speaker zones independently of the SRB, so need to figure out a way of choosing which zone I want to have on. This could mean having one zone on, leaving that room and switching another zone on, without interrupting the SBR. Need to speak to my installer about doing some PERL work to try and figure this one out.
