I understand. But I think the controller is a whole other beast. We have plugins for the server, plugins for the SB1-3 that run on the server but are really configured as SB plugins and then the receiver has its own characteristics (ie no UI of its own and has no earplug jack that the IR Blaster uses). I have not seen a SB Controller plugin yet and there is only a demo plugin that does not even seem to work on 7.3x for the SB receiver. Of course LUA is a totally different environment. The point I was making about isolating a plugin for iPeng only is that if its really an app that runs on iPeng, it would result in iPeng being the only way to achieve that same functionality or else what is really going on is that you are using some unique plugin capability you built inside of iPeng and then you turned around and drove the same function to the Squeezecenter. This seems to be counter to the concept of universal functionality but thats just my 2 cents. If the feature or user experience is unique to iPeng and it does not limit the use of the other devices then this would be OK. -- Aesculus Chris ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Aesculus's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=14876 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=55514 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
