Hum, it is possible the Boom is using the CLI and caching some information locally. I did this when I wrote a SqueezeCenter client and displayed the entire play list on the screen at once (well, what would fit - I scrolled the rest off & on as needed). That would be interesting to know if the Boom is caching the play list, anyone know for sure? As for your SB3 - you will have to ask your self if speeding up the display for the SB3 is worth it. That is, it is possible your server is the limiting factor. For instance, a duel core server may make a difference. Recall, just about every thing you do on the remote goes through the server first (I think the pause key is processed both locally and on the server).
