Ok I've been looking around for a decent around the house audio system. This is what I currently have:
Lounge: Shuttle PC used as a media pc with projector and surround sound system coming from amp Study: 2 PCs, both with speaker systems Bedroom: Oxx Tube Network Radio Music Room: Nothing Hall: iPod Dock with speakers Bathroom: Nothing I also have two iPod Touches. So... I've bought a Squeezebox Duet and was anticipating buying more, until I hit the familiar software issues that bugged me with the previous glowing brick I got from Logitech that was the Harmony 1000. Can anyone explain how I can set up my house so I can press a button to play syncronised sound in all rooms? I set up the duet receiver in the hall to play through the mp3 dock and installed squeezeserver on the pc in the lounge, and then tried softsqueeze and squeezeplayer on the pcs in the study, however no sound ever comes out. Have been through all the instructions etc (am a software engineer, so I'm not completely daft!). Can anyone level with me - is this just buggy and likely to continue or am I not getting something? -- squeezeWallet ------------------------------------------------------------------------ squeezeWallet's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=37031 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=76338 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
