Most businesses certainly do not cut off support - certainly not in such a short time! The Squeezebox 3/Classic was released in 2006? That is only FOUR short years. Take my preamp (Copland CTA-305) - it too was released in 2006 and not only is it still supported - IT IS STILL A CURRENT MODEL! Most products four years from release would still be current, let alone still supported.
