LOL :) Well, pick whatever flavor OS you prefer (MS, MAC, Linux, other?), eventually some future SBS version would not be supported on XYZ OS, in the hypothetical situation above. There are always workarounds, like running a dedicated device for the older SBS version and older OS version. But this would not be a great solution if my future SB player requires SBS 12 but my SB3 is not supported beyond SBS 9.
