Audio products are quite different to consumer IT products, so I guess
it depends on how you classify the SB line. Wireless routers from the
likes of Netgear and Belkin are lucky to last 6 months in retail and I
suspect they will be completely unsupported in a little over a year
after that.

That's a bit of a special case. Vista will not see that level of
support from MS, although W7 might. It all depends on if the big
corporates and public sector customers hold them to ransom again or
not.
