Someone will probably contradict me in a minute, but I can't see how this would work unless the device were running Windows/Linux. I don't think (but may be corrected) that Android devices have device drivers for things like USB sound cards. You'd have to go for a Windows tablet I think for that and I don't recall any 7" ones.
