That's correct, but I wouldn't count on a Windows tablet having the drivers either. The Motorola Xoom (and possibly others) will act as a USB host with the proper adapter. At the moment, unless you run a customer kernel (aka root) on the Xoom, the only thing you can use it for is mouse or keyboard. There are custom kernels that support storage devices connected via USB. I've seen the question about support for USB sound cards in Andriod come up in various forums.
