2. noise, clutter, no interest in having a computer in the room (which is a big selling point for "networked" audio)
3. same as #2, many do not want/need/desire a big *box* in our AV rack or even in the same room IMO, keep the computer, server, storage, files, etc... completely away from my living room. I just need/want a player at my listening area.
