I'd be curious to know... Of all the people posting here with their gung ho enthusiasm for such a piece of equipment, how many will actually buy one or more at the expected price of (what are we up to now?) $300-$400? Personally, I have more Squeezeboxes than I know what to do with. I would have to think that nearly everyone else here does also. If I were to buy one, it would mostly be to play around with.
For this to be doable, even to have a run of, say, 100 units, it needs to be viable as a Squeezebox replacement that is usable by someone completely new to the Squeezebox ecosystem.
