Another thing I haven't seen anyone mention: The wandboard's modular interface is based on this "EDM" standard, which seems to include I2S http://www.edm-standard.org/
This means that we may not be limited to just the wandboard. Of course, drivers are a very important factor in this.. and the large reason I believe we're going with the wandboard is because we have I2S drivers ready to use. But thats still quite interesting that we could be making a more universal module.. allowing it to be using with a range of hardware. Currently wandboard and this company..
