IC thank you very much for the response !! so pick up those old box actually will be great solution for me great cost saver. there is another 2 huddler for me which is the energy used (NAS vs compact PC) and noise level (box will be put in my bedroom)
I would say the end system will be: 1GHz processor (just in case) 256 RAM 250GB harddrive No CD ROM (to save energey and quiet factor also i will rip CDs with my laptop) minimum voltage PSU motherboard with onboard vcard. i believe with these system 2nd hand it would be almost nothing :D i also will definitely cheack out pros and cons between Windows OS (compact ver.) and ClarkConnect. Also those guys who have dedicated slim box out there, how do you control the box without monitor,keyboard, and mouse installed ?
