Why suffer a loss in quality? Uncompressed audio played via the Squeezebox should be exceptionally good, and better through the Transporter. Or to your ears was your CD transport better than than the Squeezebox and Transporter? (If the "now" was a typo and it was supposed to be "no" then please ignore this paragraph. Thanks.)
