If you bought a nice sports-car and the auto company later went to your
house and took it away, leaving you an SUV instead, because they retain
the right to change the car after the purchase, you'd be very angry.
Then if you couldn't drive that car on just any road, but had to use
the toll-roads set up by that company, you'd be even more angry.

What word describes a person who knowingly enters into such a contract?
I can think of several but the least offensive one is INSANE. Yet,
there are many who buy music under those same terms. They buy music
from an on-line store called itunes. If you buy music from itunes, the
restrictions on the files can be changed at any time. From
http://www.infoworld.com/article/06/08/01/HNitunesdrmcomplaints_1.html
"terms of agreement in the iTunes store, which retains the right to
change the terms of the purchase after it's made and claims no
responsibility for damage iTunes software could cause to users'
computers." What word would describe someone who knowingly enters into
such a contract? I can think of a few...

The fact that Slimserver doesn't write anything to your audio files is
VERY good. It means you retain full control over your music library,
unlike a library made of itunes music.
