Your work PC wouldn't need to access the dynamic DNS.  The
name-to-address resolution will be done by whatever DNS server your PC
uses.  The port used is the standard DNS port, so they can't be
blocking a port.  If they blacklist dynamic DNS sites then maybe you
can find an obscure DNS provider that isn't blocked.  They can't
possibly block them all.

This is the way to go if you don't mind spending the money on an
external drive.

If you can play MP3s on the laptop then transcode your library to MP3
and take that library to work.  I'm sure the quality will be more than
adequate, plus it will require a much smaller hard drive.  Ideally, you
could use a 2.5" or a 1.8" external drive.  A 2.5" drive may need
external power, but a 1.8" won't.  This makes it very handy, as you can
just plug it in like a flash drive and won't need a power adapter.
