It would be nice to be able to read terminal another way but I've
gotten very used to it and for some things, such as using emacs
(though I use text edit more and more) or finding links in lynx (it
sometimes help to see that browser's representation of a site) you
don't even have to interact, just arrow up and down. Some things just
aren't what we are used to but can become easier as we do them. At
first I thought I'd never use terminal the way it works with
voiceover but now I do use it. Also, the say command can be helpful
for some things. but I do understand what you are saying.
As for keyboard, I personally like the Apple keyboard much better
than I ever did the pc keyboard but that's definitely a matter of
preference.
