Ah Joe, just hit VO-keys + tab and that acts as a bypass key and that
should get you into the menu. What happens if you do this? Do you
consistantly get the menu to speak?
tnx

Hi Scott,
Interesting, I can't get Sleep pane to come up at all due to key
command conflict with VO...just get a ding. Again, we'll need to
change this key command to avoid the conflict. TAB and SHIFT-TAB
should work OK to navigate through the Sleep pane. To get out of
the Sleep pane you need to TAB to the OK button then press Return
to click the button. Again, replacing this dialog with a VO
navigable dialog (as we are doing now) will mean that your global,
VO speech settings apply and you can use VO navigation rather than
katie's built in speech and dialog navigation. The Keys Manager
dialog is an example of a dialog which has been replaced for
compatibility with VO. With no book loaded, you can open the Keys
Manager dialog by clicking Command + K and try it out with
VoiceOver. Ultimately, katieplayer will not do any self-voicing and
will rely completely on VoiceOver.

Ok I stand corrected, the sleep menu did come up. I needed to slow
the speech down a little to hear the menu choices and then I
couldn't use the tab key to navigate the choices. Also, I wasn't
sure how to get out of the sleep menu to get back to the book. Any
help appreciated.
