Ya, there's no global search for the archives - you have to deal with each
month separately. What a pain.

Does anyone know aproximately when the discussion happend? Was it a year
ago? Was it last spring? Any help narrowing it down would be appreciated.

Thanx much...

Hi Rich,

iTunes is Carbon. There has been significant amount of discussion on
the list regarding the Apple development frameworks: Cocoa and
Carbon. The list archives aren't the easiest to search through but
it's worth revisiting those discussions if you'd like more
information. I daresay actively revisiting those discussions would
result in a collective - and justifiable - groan from listers who
survived those discussions the first time around. We (me among the
guilty parties) really flogged that topic.

Link to list archives is:

Hope the info helps,

Joe
