Hi all. I want to preface my comments by saying that I've never had
any personal dealings with Gabe. What I'm about to say is strictly
based on my observations of him on this list and other lists. That
being said, I think that Gabe returning to Mac Visionaries would be a
disaster. To my mind, the really important point of the whole
situation is that he has been removed from the list not once but
twice. Once you can kind of forgive, because we've all made
mistakes. But twice? It's also worth noting that while Gabe was on
the list, he was taken to task for his conduct on several occasions.
Each time he appologized, but almost immediately he proceeded to do
the same things again.
As for his knowledge of the Mac, e never struck me as possessing
anymore than many of the other people here, and those people at least
display a level of politeness.
Finally, I want to say that while Gabe was here in the past, his
behavior caused many good people to leave the list. Many of them have
subsequently returned, but some of them have not. I'd hate to see
that happen again. In my opinion, what knowledge he may or may not
have, just isn't worth it.

requests to be let back on the list. I guess I'm looking for a
consensus for whether I should give him another chance. I know some
members unsubscribed because of him before and I wouldn't want to
make a decision without feeling the waters. I'm giving it 24 hours
for anyone who has any objections to respond.
