Yea but even the US english voices are worth the price, especially if
you are reading long documents or books.

You are right. Infovox iVox is just extra voices to add to your
system. Apple has not announced plans for any other voices but the
new Alex voice for Leopard. They list that voice on the
accessibility page for Leopard. For other voices and other
languages you will need to get third party voices. That's why I
said it is good news that the Infovox iVox voices are now cheaper.
just for clarity I am from AssistiveWare and we distribute and co-
develop those. However, they are developed by Acapela and they set
the pricing so it has taken me quite a bit of effort to get these
new lower prices.
