To see the manual page you open up terminal and type the man followed
by the command you want, in this case additemtodock. So what you type
would look like this.
man additemtodock
Note that this is a standard in unix, and just about any command you
will want to use in terminal will have a corresponding man page.

Hi all,
I installed this app. What is the syntax to see the manual page?
Thanks for any help.

Hi Darcy,
You asked: I'm wondering if there is a way for us to place folders
on the dock. I tried the VO drag and drop feature, but had no
luck. Now that you can have stacks show up as a list, I wouldn't
mind having some folders down there, specifically the applications
folder. Any thoughts?

You must run this in terminal and it does work. I am able to add
folders and documents to the Dock but have not yet determined how
to add a web address. It is not a difficult command to work with
but if you're not a Terminal savvy person, I wouldn't suggest
trying it.
