Hi
I believe that it is not just this one dialogue box issue but rather
the part of the store that is inaccessible.
i assume once this part become accessible, one can
1. set up and manage a store account indipendently
2. buy whole albums
3. rent movies
etc.

No Chris, I said that they shouldn't help you accept the dialog,
but that fundamentally, the dialog should be changed, so that
it's accessible. They should help by fixing the dialog, not by
accepting it for us.
Hope that clarifies things.

Olivia,
I too have been very satisfied with Apple's support for the most
part, however, they really do need to address this issue once and
forall. That iTunes dialog is not accessible, has never been
accessible and they've got to be aware of it by now. Honestly, I
think we should all write to [EMAIL PROTECTED] as even if
they were willing to help, that dialog should be fundamentally
made accessible. After all, wouldn't we be more apt to purchase
music from the iTunes store were we able to independently get it
set up?

I was surprised to read about this.
I have dealt with apple for various things over the last couple of
months and have found them to be extremely helpful and responsive.
They are one of the few companies who don't freak out when they
hear I'm blind and using a screen reader and tell me to get
sighted help. Instead, every apple agent I have spoken with has
been responsive and helpful, sometimes even going so far as
attempting to replicate the problems I was having using voiceover.

Well, we're actually doing that too, David.

I can tell you for a fact that this is not what apple is
about. They have
committed to acessibility and because one person says this or
that does
not
make it so. What you should do is take this to apple corporate.
