I sympathize with you Marty. I went through the same thing. I still do on occassion. I think, "What the blankedy blank does all that mean?" But Just keep reading, and most times questions are answered. If not, I ask, or someone else asks! We're often not alone in our not understanding something.
I'm sure someone already answered the VO keys, meaning Voice Over keys, which are control-option keys. VO is a handy shortcut. And you'll be using it too someday. smile. Then another new person will join the list and say "What on Earth is VO-D?" ha ha.
