Sometime "smarter" is "worser". What if I wish to open file in RTF as
plain text? What if I wish to open CSV-formatted file one time as text,
other time as table? Again: sometime, only explicit asking of converter for
file in foreign format was allow me to open files in MSW correctly. And
again: this relates only to _foreign_ formats; if you work with native
format (.doc), MSW opens it silently, as expected. Don't know about Average
Joe or My Mom, but I myself happy, if application asks me how to open
foreign file (and preselects suggested format for selecting by Enter).
