If you want to protect any data, you need to encrypt it. (For instance,
you can crack NT 'security' wide open with an Ubuntu Live CD!).
In all fairness you can also very easily crack Ubuntu "security" with an
Ubuntu Live CD. ;-)
And should you use encrypted files or filesystems, you will not have
access to the encrypted data, neither in Win nor in Lin.

think the Government finally realised that encryption is the only way
to go.
