Strange. I thought the US was kind of high tech…
Most of the developing countries didn't have an infrastructure to upgrade as we have, so in terms of speed and tech so by comparison, we aren't that high in technology. People don't have high speed internet because they can't get it (I was that way until 2005) or they don't want it (a surprising number don't).
