I'm still having trouble getting the Flash Debug Player setup right. I have
two specific problems:

- In IE, I get an error that says: "This content requires the Adobe Flash
Player." But, if I go to Adobe's version test page, it says, I have the
correct debug player installed.

- In Eclipse, if I go to the Flex Start Page, I get an error that says: "The
Flex Start Page requires the Adobe Flash Player."

The Flex app will run in Firefox and Safari.

I've downloaded the latest debug players from Adobe - Both version 9 & 10
and tried them both. When I go to

http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_15507

All the browsers report the correct Flash version and that it is the Debug
Player.

Any other ideas? Also, is it OK to use either version 9 or 10 with
Flexbuilder 3? Left to myself, I'd just use 10, but I'd like to know if
there are any problems doing this.

Thanks,

    Clarke

There's usually a section where you can get the debug version of the

player when a new player comes out. Just don't install the main one on

the adobe.com site. You sometimes have to do a little digging to be sure

to get the debug version which is the one you want.

It's not a good idea to stick with the one they give with flex builder

since several versions of the flash player do come out between release

versions of flex builder.
