I personally would support ways to promote companies using/supporting
SME Server. I can understand that people want to be paid for their
work, and in return I would like to think that people making money
from SME Server would contribute back in either money or effort.

be good to see this improve.
I have no good solution of my own, and appreciate the discussion, even
when there are differing views
