We (Nethesis) plans to verify and approve contribs for NethServer.
We're still not ready for a contrib market, but we will offer a
platform to distribute approved contribs.
We'd like to have a community contribs section that will be tested by
the community. we'll leave this decision to the community.

I agree. That's why we rewrote it for NethServer (but many other parts
are unchanged).
If you'd like to contribute, you're welcome.
