Hi,

I will be offering myself for a position in the board; but I'll warn
you that if I'm elected you won't see me do much.

Agenda is pretty simple:

1. Cost of membership drops to 50 NIS and 25 NIS respectively, since
the only need for money is to fund AP. Entrance to Hamakor members
   will remain free.

That might be intresting, but instead of lowering the cost one can raise the value
you get for that cost, like more attractive discounts in various places.
Or all sort of agreements with other bodies, like we'll come and give lecture especialy for your members on one topic
you'll come and give lecture for hamakor members on another.

2. There are no longer "yedidim".

I also used to think this is a good idea, but alon convinced me it's not practicle.
On the other way I think there might be a way to get more power to yedidim
Not everything have to be official hamakor descions we can have votes on various
subjects like do we want this and this to happen or do you think this and this project should get money.

3. The board, by definition, will not have to do anything other than
post "we want this to happen" messages, giving general direction
to others interested in helping but don't know how.

Most work will be done by appointed "project managers"; most are
   already doing some work.

Can you elabrate what you mean by wanting something to happen and how you originize and get people to do it?

4. The lists will have no censorship, no moderation, and will be open
   for posting without subscribing.

spam?

5. The only required list is "discussions". Other lists will be
combined to a new list, "misc".

6. Hamakor will not spend money on printing CDs, posters, postcards,
T-Shirts, or anything like it until it gains more stability.

You mean give away for free?or even selling?

7. There will be a general assembly of Hamakor members (all of them)
at least 3-4 times a year.

Yes I think we should do that, but not an official general assmbly just a meeting of hamakor
Where people can get to know each other discuss things.

8. The Vaya research whatever stocks will be returned. Thanks, but
   no thanks.

any specific reason why?

9. "Hamakor Prize" will be cancelled.

I actualy think it should be extanded.

10. There will be no electronic votes. The board decides what goes,
if anything requires public opinion, we have lists. People who
want their opinion to be counted can post to them.

you kidding??? That can save us so much problems.
Instead of dragging everyone to meetings. And sick people can vote from home!!:)
I think electronic voting is a very good idea.

That's all for now.

Don't bother replying - I don't care what you think, my opinions will
not change, and if I will be elected each one of these will be done.

You know there are 3 vaad members...
