Understood. I guess I naively hoped that it would be easier to simulate a key press inside sbpd than it would to find a command line method, but a quick Google tells me I was wrong! I'll stick with the gpio-key overlay in that case. Horses for courses. I have two RPis in my system. One runs LMS and my main USB DAC - I use sbpd on this one to give me some playback/volume/presets buttons on the front of my amplifier. The other runs Jivelite on my TV - 'I now use the gpio-key overlay on this one to give me some Jivelite navigation buttons' (https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?110821-Trying-to-add-GPIO-controls-anyone-managed-to-build-run-use-PiKeyD-on-PiCorePlayer&p=946845&viewfull=1#post946845). But in fact, I don't use the physical buttons on either device very often, as both can be controlled by an all-in-one IR remote :-) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ chill's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10839 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107001
