Not all of what I find is an actual problem. I've not been involved in
this effort for several years, and I hope I can provide a new look at
some of it, and asking or pointing out things I react to as I read through.
We do have to keep in mind there may be people reading these documents
without a dozen years of history filling in the gaps. Thank you for
taking the time to try and provide feedback with that perspective.
Here I wanted to flag the discrepancy between my perception of the
importance we give to the reporting period ... nor even giving any
guidance on how to choose an appropriate reporting period.
There is a DMARC Usage document as a Phase II/III work item in the
charter, but it doesn't seem likely that we'll create such a thing from
scratch in the time remaining. And while it might have been nice for the
WG to produce such a doc, there have been *mountains* of guidance
published since 2015, and I'm sure more will be published no matter what
the WG does.
