Hey Daze....... just a thought, tho much probably it's not the solution in your case.... I had 20 days of hell with the pc in this bloody XMas holidays only to discover that a cable bringing between other things the CPU fan power, wasn't regularly working.....it used to work intermittently causing my PC to collapse randomly......it could happen in 3 minutes or after 2 hrs........but anyway it was going on loads of times......... now luckily it's all sorted.....(touching wood) ok much probably this won't make you solve your specific problem, but I'm just trying to help, since I know what pain in the arse are CPU overheating troubles ...;).....best of luck.....
