Well done, thanks. :-) I haven't had a chance to critique it properly yet (requires time to read it properly as well as all of the comments already made within the context of having made my own notes; hopefully tonight) but I wanted to make one comment. Regarding one item from Patrick, I _always_ configure the network settings during the install. I find it works easier assuming the install recognizes your network H/W. Just one opposite opinion if you're needing to look for a consensus. Having said that, though, I haven't done enough OS installs on x86 hardware yet (and none on laptops) to "strongly object" or to suggest whether you may want a fork here. That is, "if OS recognizes your network hardware..., if it doesn't..." Perhaps a pointer to running the Install Check CD first?
